Hello, my name is Neil, first thank you for all you do and as much appreciated.
My problem is the D indicator is flashing on the dashboard. When the car is first started the P shows up but eventually all the emblems clustered together to form the D and flash.
There's no check engine light or real drivability problem and occasional weird shift. It is a CVT transmission. I have done regular maintenance it is a little bit overdue for the transmission. Do you think a service May fix this? Is there a way to retrieve codes without a scanner? Honda wants almost $200 just to hook up the scanner. I have on the vehicle since new and is primarily highway mileage. Any help you can give me as much appreciated. Because Honda before they even have seen the car have said it's a transmission.
