Hi,
The first thing I suggest is to scan the can-bus for diagnostic codes to see if there are any that are related to the transmission. The issue could be the result of a few things including a pressure solenoid, shift solenoid, and so on.

Next, if it is a solenoid related issue, I would think the torque converter shift solenoid (solenoid A) would be related, but I don't believe it has anything to do with reverse.
I attached directions below for replacing solenoid A. The first pic below shows the location of solenoid B and C.
The primary reason I recommended scanning is because it will become a guessing game if we aren't sure. It can get expensive and time consuming.
