I just replaced my radiator and although I drained the cooling system there is still water in the expansion tank. I have a premix of ant-freeze and coolant that says "Do Not Mix with water" Is it okay to use water alone as a coolant for a short time?

Hi there,

Yes you can just use water , as long as you are not in a area that will have freezing temp. as the coolant is a anti freeze agent as well as a corrosion inhibitor, just don't leave it to long.
