1997 Toyota Tacoma help in mexico

I have a 97 toyota tacoma xl 4x4, and it is making a grinding sound when I try to start it, but only sometimes other times it starts fine, and also seems to intermitatly over heat, but havent been able to see where it is leaking from, if at all, but I do keep on having to fill the radiator. Thanks for any light you may be able to shine on my problems, I am in mexico and it is hard to find anyone who knows about toyota's they mostly deel with nissan.

Hi there,

A cooling system pressure test will help locate this leak, have the starter and the ring gear checked for the starting noise, any mechanic can do these test,
