smokin truck

hey, i just traded for a 1981 toyota pick up with the 22r engin, it has only 67,000 actual miles on it the old man bought it new he died and the truck has sat for years, very nice truck inside and out, but because of it sittin so long it now smokes, light gray smoke when you drive it, can u tell me what to do to save this truck, it is really worth it. thanks again

To get it back in shape go thru the whole thing-get some tune-up parts/check the Carb you sounded as its burning rich-give it a thorough check up-won't hurt-check everything.

The piston rings maybe stuck from sitting for so long. Drive it, drive it, drive it.
