When I drive a relativly long distance my brake pedal gets very hard, and I begin to smell a burning odor, it seems my brakes are staying locked. After I let it cool for a short period I t seems to work find. Any ideas what I can do to figure out exactly what my problems is. A ny help is greatly appreciated! Brian

Check the brake hose and brake master cylinder the fluid might not be returning back to its resevoir, also could be caliper piston binding in its bore.

Check everything I've mentioned-brake hose might look good from the outside and collasped in the inside.

Pay close attention to the caliper pistons. Could be jammed or corroded inside.
