1988 Toyota Pickup overheating on freeway?

My truck only overheats when I go on the freeway or above 55mph ive replaced both radiator hoses the thermostat and flushed the radiator when I get off the free way and slow down the temp goes back down?

I have a 87 truck and a 88 camry and both have had this problem before. If you have been losing coolant I would suggest doing a compression test. Its possible the head-gasket is bad and the test will tell you
