I'm from sri lanka .My car is a Toyota carina AT 150 1987 model It has a 4 sylinder 8 valve engine (3A)
My problems are
1 when my car is in idle/neutral RPM varies between 800-1500 why and how can I fix that problem
2 before I start I have to kick and release the accelarator
3 after a trip of 15-20 km my idle RPM get stuck around 2000 and before I switch the engine off I have to kick the accelarator to bring the RPM down to stop the engine smoothly otherwise it takes bit of a time to stop
please give me your valuable opinion on this issue
Thanks a lot!

Can the choke be detached and serviced or is it a seperately replacible part
If it cannot be fixed do I have to buy a reconditioned carb ?
