I have a 1990 Tayota cressida with 169000 mile on it. It is leaking oil from inside the distibutor cap. Is this a major job. I want to know if it is and about how much it would cost to have it repair. Is there some kind of gasket that needs to be replace. Also My brake light stays on all the time. what could be the cause of this.

There is a seal in the distributer. Some can be fixed and some can't. If not you will have to replace the distributer.

Brake light on can be low fluid, worn brakes or just a bad connectin. Some will light if a brake light bulb is out. Good Luck
