I have '92 Toyota Corolla sedan with a 3 speed automatic. Does that transmission have a torque converter? If it does where can I buy one?

Not trying to be funny here, Every automatic transmission has one, its like a small engine in front of the transmission that makes the transmission works.
Its like two (2 ) fans one of them is off and the other is On facing each other.This is how it worksi in the torque converter and its all done by multiplying fluid pressure. Try the nearest junkyard or dealer.
