Losing power sputtering on acceleration. Maybe a coincidence but it first started on a very cold and very rainy day. I bought a new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, air and fuel filter. Havent installed them yet but I will tonight. If this does not resolve the problem any suggestions. One more thing I pulled the plugs and they were an "ashy white" all of them. Shouldnt they be a nice tan?

Yes they should be tan.

Check fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge, also check each cylinder for spark and run a compression test.

Also perform a CAT backpressure test to see if the CAT is clogged.
