1993 Toyota Corolla fuel usage

Hello,
I want to know if my car uses 5.6-6 lit/100km fuel in roads(out of cities, avg. Speed: 100km/hr & with A/C off) and uses about 7lit/100km in roads(out of cities, avg. Speed: 100km/hr & with A/C on). But in the city it uses the fuel between 8-10.2 lit/100km.
Air filter is good & engine working doesn't seem to be bad.
Using of this volume of fuel is normal or you think this is high & I must check some where of engine?

Hi there,

What you report is not that far for what would expect for a car with those Kms on the clock, but if you are concerned, go get a full tune up and a compression test done, if yours is a carby engine, I do not think that you will see to muck of an improvement, start here.
