Loud noise

Recently had a cracked exhaust manifold fixed after experiencing some loud noise. Thought it would solve the loud noise from inside the car but didn't really solve the problem. Also had the wheels rebalanced to help solve some of the vibrations. However I'm still experiencing some loud vbroom noise inside car. Was wondering if it was just possibly because it's an older car that it will make that noise or if its another problem.
