I had started my car and let it warm up for a good 5 minutes before I attempted to drive it. I proceeded to drive and stopped at a stop sign I came to. As I took off from the stop sign it was like my motor stopped and the car lost complete power. I then tried to start it again and it was like the engine was turning over but it made a god awful sound and won't start.

Hi there,

I would check for a broken timing belt.
