Toyota Camry, 1991, approximately 190,000 miles

The engine was rebuilt approximately 10,000 miles ago. Car has been running great. Today, while driving in the mountains, going up a large hill, heard a pop and saw a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust. Was able to drive to pull over. After that, was able to crank the car, and drive as long as foot was on the gas (lots of smoke still coming out). Within a few minutes the car was no longer able to even turn over/crank.

Any help would be great. How much do you think it will cost.

Any idea how much this should cost to fix for a 1991 Toyota Camry, approx 190000 miles? Should the entire engine have to be replaced? Is it worth fixing or should I look into getting a new car?

Sell it, get what you can get, than use it along with what you got on savings for a new car. This ricerocket is coming to its end at 190K's. Its probably more than just a headgasket that's involved.
