1996 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Automatic

My car cranks quickly with no hesitation but wont stay on. It cuts off like 10 sec after it cuts on. A guy I know told me its a clogged catalytic converter. I wanna know if a clogged cat can cause this. Please help me

Hi there,

No this will not be the cause of your problem, I would start with a diagnostic scan and check for any unresolved fault codes, report any codes here for assistance.
