I don't know the other details of the vehicle but my husband is wanting to buy a flooded vehicle from the Nashville area. A mechanic told him that the vehicle would not give him any problems as long as it wasn't running during the flood or wasn't started until it had dried out completely. We inadvertently bought a flood vehicle that had come from LA back in 2001 and had to replace the transmission 4 times because as we found out later, it had been in a flood. If the vehicle hasn't been started since the flood happened and wasn't running during the time it was flooding, is it mechanically sound?
