Hello, just needed to know if the truck listed above uses normal or flex bolts? My heads are cast iron?

Here are the torque specs for the engine and I have included how to use a torque wrench video in case you need it. There are two different kinds of bolts the torque to yield bolts will need to be replaced, see below:

https://youtu.be/juOClONIWeY

On engines with non-flanged hex head bolts, using sequence shown in Fig. 18, torque cylinder head bolts in two steps; first to 55-65 ft lb, then to 65-72 ft lb.

On engines with flanged hex head bolts (torque to yield), using sequence shown in Fig. 18, torque cylinder head bolts in three steps; first to 25-35 ft lb, second to 45-55 ft lb, then tighten an additional 1/4 turn (85-95 degrees).

Okay, I decided to completely pull the engine. When I dropped the oil pan, I found the tip of number 4 Piston in it. Is it fixable?
Many Thanks as always y'all are the best.

If the piston is broken it will need to be replaced, do you mean the skirt of the piston? Can you upload an image?

If I'm doing this twice, I apologize. It is the skirt. Skirt tip I'm calling it. Now that I've researched it the sound, I'm getting is a piston slap or slapping metal sound.
Would y'all be able to recommend either a used or rebuilt engine place? Just looking for an opinion. I've had two places trying to scam me by false information and wanting me to wire payment. Got three others showing the same engine for sale.
Many Thanks, BobbyB

No problem, either way the engine will need to be replaced or disassembled and repaired. I like the rebuilt engine from Ford, they have a great warranty and any ford dealer will take care of the engine if you should have a problem.

Can you replace one piston? When all this started, I thought of the lifters. After cleaning the top end, I went on a test drive and my head gasket blew on number two cylinder and forced the compression into my cooling system blowing a hole in the upper hose connection. Literally blew a hole in the plastic. Also had coolant in number two cylinder. The lower intake had a really slow leak before this. I am wondering if it sealed it properly after re-gasketing top end is why Head gasket blew? That's when I took it out and found the piston skirt broken.
As Always, Many thanks, BobbyB

Yes, you can replace one piston, but the cylinder will use oil unless you have the block re-machined and use an oversized piston.
