I recently bought a new g cord for my TIPM, and the new cord has 15 wires and the old one has 16. Additionally, the wires don't match up. My question is, do I have to remove the wires on the new cord to match up with the old cord and does the wire size matter? 1st pic is the new cord, 2nd is the old one.

Did you get the replacements from the dealer or a used truck? We could have differences in the wiring. If the wiring colors are different with different sized wires, I would not use them unless the dealer tells you there is an upgrade. They will be the only ones that know this information.
