I got them all out from the beginning. I have rotated the motor. Doesn't feel like it's hitting anything but there is still a lot of pressure.

As long as it turns freely without hitting anything, then you don't have a bent valve.

I replaced the balance chain with a new sprocket. I did it a few days ago with everything on TDC. I put it on the mark in the crank sprocket and the balance shaft driven sprocket. However, I have rotated the crank and cams several times and put the old chain in and new in and out trying everything. So, every time I took the chain out and put it back in, the chain had not stopped on the marks, it was just TDC on the sprockets and the crank shaft sprocket. Does it matter that the balance chain marks are not matched with the sprocket marks at the same time as the timing chain on the cams and crank? It was still put in on TDC. I originally put the balance chain at the same time as the timing chain, but I wasn't planning to take it out so many times, so every time I took it out, I had to leave the balance one in. Thanks

The engine, the marks on the chain will never line up again. That is normal.

The marks on the chain are for initial setup only.

Once you turn the engine, the marks will never line up again.

What I meant was, does the balance chain have to be put in their respective marks at the same time the timing chain is done, or is it okay that it was there already? I don't know how a balance chain works, so I ask.

This chain is not timed. It just runs the oil pump. No worries on aligning any marks.

Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of either cam before I took them out. You wouldn't happen to have a diagram of both of them where the bolts go, do you? For both.
Thanks

I meant covers. The front timing cover and the valve cover. I'm lost, I am all mixed up where which bolt goes where.

Thank you very much. I don't know what I would do without you. I'm just a bit confused which size bolts go where, but I'll have to figure it out, I should have marked them. Also, the sequence includes the inside behind the cover. It's just me, I am not very smart. I hope I didn't lose any bolts. Thanks.

This is what I have: A total of 21 bolts. The bolt for the tensioner is on it right now, so that one is not missing. I named these to simplify it. There is A-1. B-1. C-2 D-2. E-1 F-2. And G-12 for a total of 21 bolts altogether. And because I was a dummy and didn't take a picture, I am having a tough time remembering what goes where. If you have anything else that could help me, I would appreciate it. If not, you have already helped me enough. Thanks.

I wish I could help you here, but you are going to have to try each one at a time.

If I was there, I could do it for you but unfortunately, I am not.

It looks like a bracket may be mounted there for something to bolt on.

What extra parts do you have at this time?
