Had 02 sensor changed, put new plugs and wires on run for about 20 minutes at idle and then shut off. Now no start, you can turn ignition switch on engine will act like it's going to turn over won't start.

Just to be sure, the engine turns when you are trying to start it but it just does not fire?

If that is the case then this is called a crank no start.

Here is a guide that will get us started with this issue:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-cranks-but-wont-start

Basically we need to start with checking for spark due to the fact that the plugs where just changed. The o2 sensors are not going to cause any issues with starting as they are not used at all.

The next thing we need to do is check the fuel pressure.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

Please run through this info and we can go from there. Basically I suspect we have a fuel or spark issue so we need to start there. Thanks

It's acting like it's going to shut off when going down road. Had 02 sensor change and plug wires and plugs put in. With that all done ran for about 20 minutes or so, shut it off. Now all it does is turns over about a quarter turn and stops before firing it acting like it what's to fire but doesn't.

Thanks for the help.

Good morning,

I would start with checking the fuel pressure as lack of fuel would cause this issue.

You can rent a tester at a parts store for this test. If it is below specs, then the pump needs to be replaced.

Fuel pressure is good. Could it be cam sensor or throttle body sensor? Like I've said before it wants to fire but won't.

Hello,
So does the engine just cranks over and not start?
The engine will need spark, fuel and have compression before it can start.

Have you checked to see if you are getting spark?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-an-ignition-system

Is there any components you have already replaced?
What kind of issues did you have before it won't start anymore?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-cranks-but-wont-start

Typically when a cam sensor is bad you could have rough idle. It could allow the engine to start but will not run very good or shut off after few seconds.

Please let me know what you got.
Thank you.

I am assuming the battery is in good shape. With multiple tries the battery can drain fast.
If it is due to a sensor then you will be able to get several cranks but no start. Keep in mind that a bad crank sensor will allow the engine to crank but not start.
Is your engine light on?

See if you can get it scanned for the trouble codes. It can help with the diagnostics.
