Starting problem, battery keeps draining?

Dead battery, got new one, started fine. Next start, nothing, no lights, sounds or cranking. Starts and runs when jumped, then dead...

Sounds like you have something draining the battery make sure the battery clamps are all tight you shouldn't be able to move them also. If there's any corrosion on a battery clamp you'll need to clean those off before installing the battery clamps.
Do you have anything plugged into any of the power ports that could be draining the battery.
If you don't have anything plugged in the power ports then this could be a plethora of electrical components causing this battery drain.

Thanks. The negative clamp was broken - I have replaced it and am now charging battery.
