Ok so it turns over but then immediately stalls out. The only trick to get it running is hold the key ignition turned for like 5 minutes while slightly stepping on gas. I have read it could be fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, rotors and caps.. all kinds of answers every where.. I also don't know where my fuel pump is located. I was told since its carbureted it wouldn't be in the fuel tank. Can you help me with these issues?

due to age and alcohol in today's fuel this carb is problably the problem and needs to be rebuilt. if youwant to check fuel pressure it should be 3.5 lbs and about 1/2 pint in 30 seconds while cranking.
