Hello,
Generally speaking, you will need spark and fuel in order for the engine to start.
So, you will need to start by checking for spark and fuel.
When you turn the key to the on position, are you able to hear the fuel pump prime for a few seconds?
One way to tell if it is a fuel issue is to spray staring fluid into the intake and try to start. If the engine starts for a few seconds, then stops it will tell you that the engine is not getting fuel.
