When I go to start my Eclipse after I hold the clutch pedal all the way to the floor and turn the key nothing happens. There is no sound like the battery clicking or anything. After 2 or 3 times the car starts. Could this be from a weak battery or is it something else?

Check battery terminal ends for cleanliness then have battery checked for condition including load test. Most places do for free

Sounds like you mite have a bad clutch switch its like a neutral switch in a automatic it tells when the clutch is in so you can start it it will be on the clutch pedal arm and when pushed in will let the car start
