This is a odd one I have the car listed above that will not start, won't even try after driving 15 plus minutes but wait a few hours it will start up perfectly. Any ideas? I brought it to a shop and they said everything was working good; battery, alternator, starter, etc. When cold it will start up without issue.

Hello,

Has the car being checked for DTC codes? If not, this is the first step.

Here is a video showing how to check for trouble codes:

Temperature related problems almost always mean some sensor problem. Could be engine coolant temperature sensor when not working properly. It will give erroneous information and produce fuel management problems. For example, if the ECT sensor is bad and your engine starts normally when cold but hard to start when warm, means the "computer" thinks the engine is cold and therefore, adjust fuel management for cold engine.

I have also attached the testing procedure for the coolant temperature sensor as well as location.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.
