Starting issue, my possible diagnosis is a bad fuel pump?

I got off work, mind you I drove to work hours before. When I got in all the lights and automatic seat adjustments worked. But when I went to start the car, it didn't start. It turns over and cranks. Had someone called out there to attempt a jump start and nothing worked. My possible diagnosis is a bad fuel pump or relay, bad gas. Or a spark issue. When attempting to start you can slightly smell gas in the engine bay. Any help is much appreciated. I have a 7-hour trip to make in less than 2 weeks.

It sounds like the engine has no spark, I would check out this video and confirm and change out the crankshaft angle sensor.

Here is the location of the crankshaft angle sensor. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
