Speedometer occasionally worked prior to transmission replacement. After, almost everything except the speedometer worked but then tested cluster and it was bad. Replaced cluster with working one and speed sensor, speedometer and D4 light are the only things not working when driving. Occasionally the battery light flickers on and off, don't know if this is helpful. Any help appreciated!

Hi,

Here are the flow charts for testing a non functional speedometer. See the attached pics and let me know if it helps.

Hi,

I would be happy to. I have one problem. I don't have a layout of the box. Honda was nice enough to only provide fuse numbers. When I click on a number, it shows me a portion of the wiring schematic with the fuse in it. See pics 1 and 2 to understand what I'm referring to.

If you look at pic 1, it shows part of the list I see. In pic 2, I selected fuse 1 from the list and that's what I get.

If you have a specific fuse in in question, let me know. Also, they have the same set up for the power-train management system.

If you look at pic 3, it is the schematic for the VSS. Pic 4 shows the VSS. I was wondering if by chance you confirmed the drive link was installed. It is a small part and easy to lose.

Pic 5 is the schematic for the speedometer.

I hope this helps. Feel free to let me know if there is something specific you need. I'll do my best to help.

Take care,
Joe
