Replacing spark plugs, coils and tap cylinder eight

A neighbor wants his spark plugs and coils changed and he wants me to tap the cylinder eight. Changing out the plugs and coils seems not so difficult but what does he mean by tap the cylinder eight? And how would I go about doing that?

Below is TSB for spark plug thread repair, hope you can read it. If I was you, I'd be real careful about thread repair, aluminum head. The person might hold you liable? You can ask them if they were talking about spark plug thread? TSB 07-15-2
