Slipping

Yesterday I was driving on the Eway and trying to merge, the car had been driving fine, but all of a sudden it started acting like it did not want to go into a higher gear and rpm's were going way up. Also, my speedometer started going crazy. Any ideas?

Scan for codes it may be a vss going bad or you may have a transmission problem. Auto parts stores can do for free.

Okay, thanks. I made it home yesterday, eventually it went back to driving as normal but I will take to Autozone and have them scan to see what it could be.

If you can check the fluid in transmission have that done as well although there may be no dipstick so a local professional will have to do it.

After the test it is for sure the VSS, Now to locate exactly where the Vss is located on this car.

Well scanning may have said that, but it may be something else to do like wiring. See picture this may be on passenger side of vehicle look for a wiring harness to it.
