Last night I warmed up car drove it one hundred yards parked it. When I got out smelled a burnt rubber smell. This morning went to start it and all it does is turn over. It tries to to start but it will not start. Could it have been timing belt that I smelled?

Very unlikely. They typically break or jump a few teeth. This is a good suspect if it is still original at the mileage you listed. The place to start is by reading and recording any diagnostic fault codes. Chrysler made doing that yourself much easier than any other manufacturer. Cycle the ignition switch from "off" to run" three times within five seconds without cranking the engine. Leave it in "run", then watch the code numbers show up in the odometer display.
