Shifting problem and loss of power?

When I drive from a stop and give gas to go it winds up and not fast it won't change into 2nd gear until I let off the gas and it then is not moving very fast. When I go to kick it down to gain speed it barely will get up and go. What problem do you think I have? My thought is it's the TCM. What are your thoughts? Can you help me? Thank you

It could be but it sounds more like you have a clogged exhaust system which will cause low power and late shifts, to find out for sure follow this guide which can let you know if the catalytic converter is bad:
