Welcome to 2CarPros.

First, and don't laugh, are your brake lights working? I ask because the shift interlock is powered through the brake light switch. If the switch has no power or isn't working, it won't release the shifter from park.

In order to override the system, turn the ignition switch to "off" (not lock), and remove the TURN-B/U fuse (# 16) to remove the battery voltage to the interlock solenoid. The fuse box is at the end of the dash on the side. See pics. You will have to replace the fuse after you shift from park so the turn signals work.

Please only over ride the system if it's an emergency. Make sure the brake lights are working.

Let me know,
Joe
