Loose shifter

Gear shifter is very loose and wobble when engaged in any gear.

This is very common with older vehicles. Over time the shift linkage wears out as well as the shift forks in the transmission. It is not a cheap or easy fix, so unless you are having issues with it going into gear or popping out of gear you probably dont want to deal with it.

The solution is a trans overhaul and a new shifter if that is worn out too.
