I was asked to help with an alternator change, but they had cut the belt off before I got there, and it looks like it goes around a lower motor mount but I'm unsure. It's a Sport model.

The 3.4 and 3.6 have different placements and I can't find any info other than the diagram for 3.6.

Hi,

If you are working with a 3.4, you are correct. The routing is different. If you look below, I attached the belt routing diagram for the 3.4L, take a look at it and let me know if that is what you needed.

I don't know if you need it, but here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know if this helps.

I'm working on a 3.6 and all I can get for it is the pattern. Just don't know if I have to take off a lower motor mount that seems to be between the pulleys.

Hi,

On the 3.6L, the engine mount bracket on the right-side needs removed for the belt.

If you look below, I attached the directions for you. Also, the belt routing for the 3.6L is included in the directions.

Let me know if this helps or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe
