I have a 06 Chevy Tahoe when I start it, it doesn't start right away. So I turn the key again and it starts but it feels like it wants to die out right away. Some times it does turn off on me but starts again. But it still continues to feel like it wants to die out. What can it be.

Try this and tell me what happens.

Cycle the key from off to on and count to 3 while it is in the run position (engine off). Do this three times then see if it starts normally.

Based on your description, it sounds like one of two possible problems. First, the fuel system is not holding pressure. As a result, it takes additional time to build enough pressure to start the engine. Or, you could simply have what I call a lazy fuel pump. Basically, it can't produce the fuel pressure needed to start the engine normally. If I provide directions, can you check fuel pump pressure, the fuel pressure regulator, and drop off pressure? You will need a fuel pressure gauge. Most parts stores will lend one to you.

Let me know.
