Good Morning
Ladies and Gentlemen;

Is there a correct method of driving ( fast -hard braking, slow-multiple mild braking or, combination of both ) after intially installing new front brake rotors and braking pads on the described saturn VUE that would possibly try and make the parts and system last longer and perform better for the life of the new parts.

I am a retired over the road truck driver and just looking for some professional advise on correct braking methods after new brake parts installation.

I try to drive conservatively and just above the posted speed limits.

Additional information will be forwarde upon rquest.

Sincerely

David Roy Shaffer

P.S. Just a old time mechanic looking for current professional information for better vehicle maintenance.

Theres really no break in period just take it easy for the first few miles with new breaks and you should be ok. Also have your rear brake shoes adjusted up that will help make your front brakes last longer firmer brake and help pervent warpping your front rotors. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
