My Saturn has recently started shifting harder then usual. I check the transmission fluid and it is reading low (first hole on stick empty and below add line). I checked the manual on changing it, and it simply says "add until full". Not helpful I bought the fluid but need to know how much to add (in quarts)? I depend on the vehicle for long commute and don't want to overfill. Any advice would be appreciated.

Warm up the tranny a bit-go around the block a few times then park it leave it running at all times as you check the fluid level fill it with the correct type fluid till it comes up to the full mark.
