1997 Saturn 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 176000 miles

It is very cold outside here and I went to start my car up this morning and it started. It was running then all of a sudden it shut off. When I tried to start it up it just clicks and the lights in the dash board and the headlights go dim. I want to know is this my battery, my starter or my alternator?

Not likely the starter, probably the battery or connections, how old is the battery?
Alternater may be a problem.

The very cold note makes me think battery. The first cold snap pushes them over the edge.
