The labor guide calls for 2.2 hours to drop the tank and replace the pump. The pump is so much due to the fact itis probably OE (original equipment), which is the best bet even though they are expensive. Find out the shops labor rate and multipy by 2.2 and that is the labor cost. I would suggest a new relay for the pump at the same time. When the pumps start going out they tend to draw more amperage and it can strain the relay causing premature failure
