My car oil light came on one day. I stop to put more oil in the car, then later it start smoking white smoke out the exhaust. When I accelerated more smoke would come out, now the car stops once it gets out to 10mph it slows down.

Any chance oil was overfilled? coolant level good?

oil level wasn't over filled, coolant level is low
