can a 1999 scenic window motor be used in a 2004 scenic? and how to replace?

It looks like they will not bolt in place as they are a little different bolt arrangement. So, they will not fit. I would suggest looking for a similar model year from a Megane as it appears they are the same.

We don't have a manual on this specific vehicle but here is a couple guides that will help with getting this replaced.

This is for removing the door panel and replacing the window motor. Clearly this is going to be slightly different on different vehicles, but it will help with getting you started and through the process.
