My blinker light quit. I changed the bulb. It did not work, so I changed the socket. Now none of the three lights in that assembly work. What could cause this? The two front work, and the passenger back still works. Just not the driver back light assembly.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a bad ground wire for the light assembly. Here is a guide that shows you how to test for the problem:

Please let us know what happens.

Thank you. My child's father told me, a year ago, that because my interiors dim, that I had a bad ground. I was told it would be expensive (extensive) to find where the bad ground is. Now that you say it, I am thankful to hear where it is. Thank you very much.

So there is a black wire back at the lens that is not working, tap into the wire and make a new ground to see if it fixes it. Also, use a test light to see if there is power when the lights are on. Here is a guide to help you use a test light and the wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works:

Lets fix it! :)

Please let us know what happens.
