I have replaced the taillight assembly, replaced the plastic connectors because they were rusted the connect from the wiring harness to the taillight bulb or assembly. When I turn my right turn signal on the rear does not light up, my mirror lights up and my front right turn signal lights up. When I put hazards on all of them light up, except for the rear passenger side, I have made sure all connections are secure and clean.

Hi,

Does the brake lamp work on that side? If the brake lamp is not working either (on the right side) first confirm there is power to the violet wire with the orange tracer at the light socket. If there isn't, we need to check the body control module (BCM).

The BCM has an integral microprocessor that individually sends power to the different lights. See pic below. If there is no power at the socket, then we need to check if there is power from the BCM. Since you indicated there was rust on the original socket, there could be corrosion at the connector.

The BCM is located on the passenger side of the cab behind the passenger side kick panel. See pic 2 below. Also, pics 3 and 4 indicate the connector pin for the light. Check for corrosion, a damaged pin, and power when the signal is on.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

I hope this helps.

Joe
