Bought new fans to replace the old ones had to wire them to battery for the meantime. Finally replaced coolant temperature sensor. Still not turning on. Figured it may be the Relays 1, 2 and 3 radiator relays. Change radiator 1 and 2 with new relays but still not turning on. For a GA16DE GXE.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Did you also swap the third radiator fan relay? Anything happen? It sounds like you may be having a wiring problem like an open wire in the circuit. Here are two tutorials showing how to test relays and wiring:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-wiring

I've also attached a wiring diagram below for the cooling fan circuit. I've cut the picture in half so you can view larger. I would check all the grounds first for an open wire. Check for a damaged, frayed, burnt, or otherwise defective ground wire. Let us know what you find and we'll go from there. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Would the third relay cause the fans not to turn or not? I went to the store they had only two in stock. I did mention I have two spares that I came across. How can I check to see if the relays are good?

Hello again.

In my last post I included a relay test tutorial. Here it is again:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

I would test the spare relays and if a good one is found try it in the third location before you have to start looking into the wiring. Let us know what you find and get back to us. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
