I’m broke down and trying to get it home with no money. Is there a home remedy of something I can put in the radiator to seal it to get it home? I heard pepper. I heard put three eggs. Just wanted to know for sure.

Hi,

How badly is it leaking? Often times when it is one of the tanks on the side, they are nonrepairable. The ideas you mentioned above I have heard of, but in all honesty, I never tried them. If it is a bad leak, I can't see how they would work.

If it isn't a bad leak and you have a short distance, you can try leaving the radiator cap on the first click so pressure doesn't build. If nothing else, that will slow things down.

Let me know.
