I took my car to get the tires replace and an alignment done. When I went to get my car he said I need to replace all four struts on the car. Then he said that I need to replace my rear lower control arm but he said it was also referred to as the tie rod. So I look up the parts online I found the struts no problem. But when I look up the tie rod and lower control arm they are all for the front and they are two different things. He said that it should have and adjustment piece on it for the alignment. So If you have any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

Was the vehicle bouncing a lot? As far as the other part, the tie rod and control arm are two different parts. Do both need replaced?

No he was saying that the part I needed went by both of those names. So its just one part that I actually need. The part I need helps with the adjument of the alignment. But what I even more confused about is when I look up the parts I can only find the ones for the front end. They don't have anything listed for the rear end?

The rear ones are most likely a dealer part.
