At first. Cars performance reduced then overheated. And engine failed.
Coolant (that had been refilled 3 days before) had leaked out and vanished (engine must have burned it)
I filled it with water and then got it going, took it to mechanic and got coolant tank replaced.
Wasn't the problem as it seems to bubble and gurgle when trying to start it. Coolant tank holds water but smells like gas when trying to start it and then removing coolant lid.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Is there excessive white smoke from the exhaust? Also, if you see air bubbles in the coolant, it sounds like compressed air from one or more of the cylinders is leaking into the cooling system.

Take a look through this link and see if it helps. It shows how to check for a bad head gasket.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
