Starter or Alternator

I have a 96 pontiac transport. V6 engine and seems like everyother day it doesnt want to start. Occasionally it will turnover and then finally start, but 9 times out of ten I have to jumpstart it. I'm just not sure if it would be the battery, starter, or alternator. Someone told me it could possibly be the connection. So I wasnt trying to buy a part & then that not be the problem.

If it cranks over hard or doesn't crank at all, it will lead to different scopes. Poor connections on the battery/starter/alternater cables can do this. I assumed you checked the connections?
