my car made a strange noise and then you smelled something hot like rubber burning and then I turned it off and then it wouldn't start back up again

What is it doing? -Cranking over and will not start or just won't crank at all/nothing when you turn key to start position

No crank at all/nothing/nada when key is engage to starting position

Could be a blown fusible link, the starter, starter relay, park and neutral switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good.
